I miss you Yesterday.

I unwrap Times and Delights I’ve held tenderly in my heart

And feel tears well up between the deep beatings of my chest.

Oh how beautiful life is, and how easily now slides into yesterday

And memories are laid to rest.

What I would do to be able to step through pasts frame

And tell you all I loved you and I still do

To sit amongst your company once more

Until the black sky forgets it’s blue.

It will never be the same.

 Yesterday only introduces tomorrow and never will they collide

It will never be the same, and neither will I.

I rewrap Times I took for granted, in fear of evanescence

And place them back into my heart, my love, my quintessence.

 

The sun is rising and there is still more to behold and to be held.
