Kay Baylor is not my name.
My original intent in having this blog was not to reveal my age or name or picture. My reasoning for this is that I did not want readers to focus on the writer but on the writing.
I figured that I posted a picture of myself, people would look at the pretty face and blonde hair and skip over any biblical truth that I present in my blog.
For once I wanted to seen by my thoughts and ideas and beliefs. Not seen for the exterior.
My greatest goal is to glorify God and I felt that if I were to expose myself, the attention would be diverted from the goal and the opportunity to convey my convictions would be jepordized.
Why is this about to change? Well, I want to live out my testimony. Often times in my attempt to hide my age, I feel as I misrepresented myself. I want to encourage and strengthen others and I want to live up to the standard of Christ.

I celebrated my 18 birthday April 23, 2008.
Im just a little girl who wants to pursue a big God.
I assume now the broadness of my audience will shrink, but I do pray that it grows deeper.
I hope you come back and visit my blog and my musings about my wonderful savior.

I am enjoying your blog entries. It is refreshing to read about a young person who not ashamed to share their faith in Jesus Christ and who is REAL.
You just keep right on writing away. God will direct those whom He knows need to read what you have to say to you.
